1 Year Major Systems & Appliance Warranty
NOTE: Not all warranty companies have identical coverages. Read your contract carefully.
• PLUMBING SYSTEM AND STOPPAGES:
Standard Plan Covered Items: Repair of leaks and breaks in water, waste, vent or gas lines within the perimeter of the main foundation of the home or garage - shower/tub valves (replaced with chrome builder’s standard) - angle stops - gate valves - toilet tanks, bowls, and working mechanisms (replacement toilets will be white builder’s standard) - wax ring seals - permanently installed sump pumps - built-in whirlpool bathtub motor pump assemblies - clearing of stoppages which can be cleared with standard sewer cable through an existing cleanout access without excavation - pressure regulators - pop-up assemblies. With respect to concrete encased or inaccessible plumbing lines, access and repair is limited to $1,000.00 aggregate per contract. FNHW/CHW will provide access through unobstructed walls, ceilings, floors, concrete slabs, and the like, and will return all openings made for access, to a rough finish only. FNHW/CHW is not responsible for trim, texture, paint, wallpaper, tile, carpet or the like.
Not Covered: Stoppages and/or collapse of water, drain or gas lines caused by roots - fixtures/faucets - bathtubs - sinks - shower enclosures and base pans - caulking and grouting - hose bibs - sewer ejector pumps - toilet seats and lids - septic tanks - water softeners - supply restrictions due to rust or chemical deposits - saunas - steam rooms - bidet - whirlpool bathtub jet plumbing -indoor/outdoor sprinkler systems - booster pumps - conditions of electrolysis.
Additional Comprehensive Option & Comprehensive Plus Plan Covered Items: Fixtures/faucets (replaced with chrome builder’s standard) - hose bibs. Replacement toilets will be of like quality. FNHW will pay up to $250.00 aggregate (combined limit for the term of the contract) to correct a code violation and/or code upgrades in relation to a covered heating, electrical, plumbing or water heater trade service call if necessary to effect repair or replacement.

• WATER HEATER (Gas or Electric):
Standard Plan Covered Items: All parts and components that affect operation (including recirculating pumps), except,
Not Covered: Solar units and/or components - holding tanks - sounds caused by sediment - flues and vents.
Additional Comprehensive Option & Comprehensive Plus Plan Covered Items: Sounds caused by sediment. FNHW/CHW will pay up to $250.00 aggregate (combined limit for the term of the contract) to correct a code violation and/or code upgrades in relation to a covered heating, electrical, plumbing or water heater trade service call if necessary to effect repair or replacement.

• HEATING SYSTEM (Gas or Electric, if Main Source of Heat to Home):
Standard Plan Covered Items: All parts and components that affect the operation of the heating unit (including ductwork). FNHW/CHW will not pay in excess of $1,500.00 aggregate per contract for access, diagnosis and repair or replacement of hot water or steam circulating heating system(s), and/or inaccessible heating ducts.
Not Covered: Solar heating systems - Geo-thermal systems – Phoenix, Glycol or Polaris systems – portable and free standing units - humidifiers and electronic air cleaners - dampers - oil storage tanks - registers and grills - filters - heat lamps - fireplace inserts and key valves - flues and vents - ductwork where asbestos is present.
Additional Comprehensive Option & Comprehensive Plus Plan Covered Items: Registers and grills - filters - heat lamps. FNHW/CHW will pay up to $250.00 aggregate (combined limit for the term of the contract) to correct a code violation and/or code upgrades in relation to a covered heating, electrical, plumbing or water heater trade service call if necessary to effect repair or replacement.
NOTE: During the seller’s coverage period, FNHW/CHW will pay no more than $500.00 for diagnosis and repair or replacement of the furnace due to failure of heat exchanger/combustion chamber.

Not Covered: Fixtures - alarms - intercoms - inadequate wiring capacity - power failure or surge – low voltage wiring.
Additional Comprehensive Option & Comprehensive Plus Plan Covered Items: FNHW/CHW will pay up to $250.00 aggregate (combined limit for the term of the contract) to correct a code violation and/or code upgrades in relation to a covered heating, electrical, plumbing or water heater trade service call if necessary to effect repair or replacement.

Additional Comprehensive Option & Comprehensive Plus Plan Covered Items: Clocks - rotisseries - racks - handles - knobs - dials - interior lining.

Standard Plan Covered Items: Telephone wiring used primarily for residential phone service located within the walls of the main foundation.
Not Covered: Phone jacks - plugs - lights - transformers and other power units - cover plates - phone units - answering devices - burglar alarm circuits - phone fuses - wiring which is the property of a telephone company.

Not Covered: Termites - fungus - wood-boring beetles - rats - any pest not specifically listed above as covered.
